It’s Grammy season and this year’s show is really starting to take shape. Childish Gambino, Pink and Lady Gaga have been booked to perform this year; along with the likes of Luis Fonsi, SZA and Kesha.
The performance that has been providing the most excitement and anticipation for fans is the Bruno Mars and Cardi B collaboration as they bring the quite brilliant Finesse Remix to the award ceremony, being held in Madison Square Garden.
As for the actual awards, Jay Z is leading on nominations with eight, followed by Kendrick Lamar (7), Bruno Mars (6) and Childish Gambino (5).
Fans weren’t exactly delighted to see James Corden announced as the host for this year’s awards, however, he has become somewhat of an unpopular figure in recent years.
On a brighter note, Logic has been confirmed to perform his hit song 1-800-273-8255 alongside Alessia Cara and Khalid, as well as being supported on stage by suicide attempt and loss survivors in what is sure to be one of the most memorable parts of this year’s ceremony. It will be a similar set-up to that at the MTV VMA awards where Logic stole the show with the dazzling performance of his suicide hotline anthem.
Be sure to catch the 60th annual Grammy Awards ceremony on Monday 29th January on CBS for American viewers.
